Triple Max Omega 3-6-9 is more than just your average omega-3 or fish oil supplement. It is reinforced with three different fats, Omega 3, 6, and 9, each of which provides their own individual health benefits. Additionally, we added the powerful antioxidants Vitamin E and Co-enzyme Q10 (CoQ10). These potent nutrients combine in our Triple Max formula which is designed to help support cardiovascular health.
Essential fatty acids are called “essential” because they are necessary in our diets as we cannot function properly without them. They are beneficial for cardiovascular, brain, and skin health. The healthiest fats are the polyunsaturated fats found in fish, flaxseed, walnuts, and some other plant oils. Unfortunately, our modern diets are generally low in these healthy fats, and high in hydrogenated or saturated fats, which are not optimal for heart health. Therefore, we must increase our consumption of healthy fats to counter balance the negative effect of the fats that are less than ideal. We have included fatty acids from the optimal sources in our Triple Max formula. Two capsules provide EPA and DHA, the omega-3 fats found in fish oil, as well as omega 3, 6, and 9 from flaxseed oil.
Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant that helps protect cells against damage caused by free radicals. It also plays a role in the proper function of smooth muscle, found in the heart and other organs. It can help with maintaining the levels of other vitamins such as vitamin A, K, iron, and selenium. In terms of health benefits, it supports the health of the immune system, brain, and eyes. Vitamin E is found in foods that contain healthy fats such as vegetable oils and nuts, but may be lacking in many diets. It is best absorbed with a small amount of fat, which is why we included it in our Triple Max formula.
CoQ10 is an antioxidant naturally made by our own bodies and found in a variety of foods. It is a primary component in maintaining a healthy metabolism, cholesterol level, and circulatory system. Even though our bodies can make CoQ10, many people have been found to have significantly decreased levels, especially those with chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, elevated blood sugar, or any heart-related condition. People who take statin medications for high cholesterol levels also are at risk for a CoQ10 deficiency. These conditions and medications seem to deplete the body of CoQ10 and therefore supplementation may be helpful.
CoQ10 may be beneficial by those with a heart condition, elevated cholesterol, or family history of heart problems. It can be used as a dietary supplement to help support heart health, even in heathy men and women. It is best absorbed with fat, which is why it is included in our Triple Max Formula, along with the omega fatty acids.
